Debut Of Intertitle Pictures - The Road To Burkittsville, Maryland Via Boston
Inspired by the language of silent films, Intertitle Pictures continues the exploration of Evil Digital Films by combining words, photographs and digital video in a seamless edited film experience.
But as is usually the case, the “real” history of a place is often far more interesting than its commercially-generated myths.
There is an odd and unsettling atmosphere that surrounds Burkittsville. I have personally sensed it when I’ve visited the village. I’ve also experienced it in the woods along the Appalachian Trail while hiking in the vicinity of Burkittsville.
I don’t think that witches have anything to do with the experience I’ve sensed. I think it has something to do with the tremendous loss of life among Union and Confederate soldiers who died during the Battle of South Mountain near Compton Gap (located at Gathland State park), a bloody prelude to the Battle of Antietam.
I hope you enjoy the debut of my first Intertitle Pictures production, The Road To Burkittsville, Maryland Via Boston.
All films produced under the Intertitle Pictures imprint will also be posted along with my Evil Digital Films at Black Cat Bone Theatre.
I hope to see you at the movies!

I'm glad to know this page. I think I`ll look often.
I can testify that–unlike The Blair Witch Project–this actually was filmed on the road into Burkittsville. I live there!
