Trojan Poses As Hillary Clinton
Here's a creative way to hide viruses during an election year - beware.
When I first heard the words “Hillary Clinton video” and “malicious download,” I assumed it was a piece from a Fox News segment, maybe a teaser for the next episode of O'Reilly.

Victoria's Secret Is TOO Sexy And TOO Sleazy???!!! WTF???!!!

Ah, how I so foundly remember the good ol' d'ya think I'm too sexy n' sleazy days of Victoria's Secret:

But, sadly, the Sharia is now being enforced by upper management at Victoria's Secret.

"We have moved off of our brand heritage," she said in a conference call with analysts. "We use the word 'sexy' a lot and really have forgotten the ultra-feminine."

And Victoria's Secret's new Iman-sanctioned business model is helping to expand its customer base!

"I, too, shop at Victoria's Secret." -- The ultra-feminine Lena Khan

And so do the ultra-feminine Sharia-compliant gals at ArtForum's Scene and Herd!!!

In My Flu Dream I Saw A Pregnant Allen Ginsburg Breast-Feeding A C.I.A. Mole

I've never been this sick before. My wife is out of town and my D.C.-area girlfriend isn't returning my calls because I've pissed her off...again. And my Mom's not returning my calls either because I forgot to send her her birthday card...again.

Plus, on top of all that depressing reality, my conservative hero William F. Buckley died this week.

Being alone when you're sick really sucks.

I keep watching this clip of Allen Gingsburg on endless loop.

I'm thinking that if I could do my life over I'd be a hippie homosexual poet on the payroll of Hogwarts. Hippie homosexual poets are never alone. Especially at Hogwarts.

I just devoted 15 minutes of my life to reading every single word on the bottle label for Vicks NyQuil Cold & Flu Original Flavor.

Did you know that at the bottom left hand corner of the barcode there's a PEEL BACK HERE tab? And that if you peel it back a secret scroll of additional information is revealed?

For example, there's this ominous warning:

Do not use

* with other medicines containing acetaminophen

* if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibbitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease.) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your precription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.

Jesus Christ!!! I'm not a friggin' doctor!!! I'm just a lawyer!!! What the hell is acetaminophen and MAOI???!!!

Why won't my girlfriend return my calls?

She's an R.N.

So's my wife.

Why aren't the people who supposedly love you actually WITH you when you need them most?

I just want to rest my swollen head in the hands of Allen Ginsberg while listening to him chant.

Check-In To The Aloha Motel @ "black and white and...all over"

"Aloha Motel"
"Rough Edge Photography"
The Right Reverend James W. Bailey
Image Size: 4" x 6"
"Before Interstate 10 existed, the most direct route between New Orleans and Baton Rouge was the legendary Airline Highway - a mythical road shadowed by the looming presence of illegal gambling parlors and dens of iniquity operated by such famous mob figures as Carlos Marcello. Just like yesteryear, today Airline Highway still stretches through a line of seedy roadside motels in Jefferson Parish before snaking its way around and across endless bayous to the Capital of Louisiana. Some of the old motels --like the Aloha Motel-- that once dotted Airline Highway still remain in all their unvarnished beat glory, echoing their distant memories of a dramatic life from another era lived in the fast lane." - James W. Bailey on "Aloha Motel".

I am sick. I have the flu. I strongly suspect an evil cabal of brainwashed Obama supporters of having exposed me to this foul sickness. I received a Change We Can Believe In flyer in the mail two days ago that I now believe was coated in a flu version of Anthrax.
Because I'm sick, tired, exhausted and 48-hour wired-up on Vicks DayQuil and more crap daytime t.v. than I've watched in the last 20 years, I'm taking the easy way out and simply stealing J.T. 's post below to remind all about the opening reception on Saturday evening.

"black and white and... all over," a show that I curated, opens to the public tomorrow at H&F Fine Arts. There will be a reception for the artists (all 19 of them) on Saturday evening from 5-8pm.
This past Sunday the artists and I gathered at the gallery to collaboratively install the show. We were able to install all 106 photos that I selected for the exhibition. The result, I think, is a salon style show that feels professional yet loose, and dives deeply into the black and white photography being made by D.C. artists today.
Please see below for the press release:
“black and white and… all over”
A group exhibition of Washington, DC-based black and white photographers
Curated by J.T. Kirkland
February 27 – March 29
Opening reception: Saturday, March 1 from 5–8pm
H&F Fine Arts is pleased to announce a group exhibition of Washington, D.C.-based photographers. Taking its name from the old standby about newspapers (“What’s black and white and read all over?”), the show presents a survey of black and white photography from the D.C. metropolitan area.
The exhibition features dozens of photographs hung salon style throughout the gallery. The artists themselves will assist the curator in hanging the show, collectively attempting to author a visual narrative that explores the voices and concerns of today’s Washington photographers by constructing a mosaic of styles and perspectives. To highlight the joint articulation of the various works, the identities of individual artists will be subordinated; the price of each piece and the initials of its creator will be presented on a brightly colored sticker meant to contrast with the dominant black and white palette. With the names and reputations of the artists subtracted from the exhibition, the work of seasoned veterans will hang alongside that of newcomers just finding their footing in the art world. The curator challenges viewers to try and tell the difference while posing the question of whether the distinction is even significant.
Artists included in the exhibition are Erin Antognoli, James W. Bailey, Danny Conant, Max Cook, Stephen Crowley, Justin Hoffmann, Michael Dax Iacovone, Nick Jbara, Jane Jeffers, J.T. Kirkland, Angela Kleis, Prescott Lassman, Thomas Paradis, Aleksei Pechnikov, Susana Raab, Alexandra Silverthorne, Jim Tetro, Bryan Whitson, and Lloyd Wolf.
High resolution images are available upon request.
I hope many of you can make it to the show. See you on Saturday!

DoD Succeeds In Intercepting Non-Functioning Satellite

U.S. Department of Defense

Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Public Affairs)

Although this happened late last week, it is great example of a functioning missile defense shield or the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), that President Reagan proposed and which the critics said was impossible. Possible message for our friends the Chinese and Russians?

A network of land-, air-, sea- and spaced-based sensors confirms that the U.S. military intercepted a non-functioning National Reconnaissance Office satellite which was in its final orbits before entering the earth's atmosphere.

CURE CANCER
Without Chemo
Part 6
FACT: In a recent survey, 64 out of 79 oncologists said they would refuse certain chemotherapies outright!
Recently, when one of the world's largest cancer centers surveyed oncologists about how they would treat their own cancers, almost 90% said they would refuse chemotherapy!
Needless to say, when I read this study, I nearly fell out of my chair.
But I can't argue with the reasons they gave. They said that chemotherapy drugs were ineffective and have an unacceptable degree of toxicity. True enough...
"There is no scientific evidence for its ability to extend in any appreciable way the lives of patients suffering from the most common organic cancer...Chemotherapy for malignancies too advanced for surgery, which accounts for 80% of all cancers, is a scientific wasteland."
--Dr Ulrich Abel, Stuttgart, Germany
The pathetic fact is that by shrinking tumors, chemotherapy encourages stronger cancer cells to grow and multiply, becoming chemo-resistant.
Then there are the new cancers caused by chemotherapy, or secondary cancers. Somehow they forget to mention this life-threatening detail on the list of "side effects" in a drug's accompanying literature. Hmmmm. I wonder why...
That's why I'm here. To cut through all the crap and tell you the truth. That's just what I'll do in Killing Cancer Before it Kills You, a special FREE Bonus Report I've prepared for you. And believe me, any time I tell you something, it will be minus the hype and self-interest of some other doctors you might know...
So who am I to be swinging this ax?

R.I.P. William F. Buckley, Jr.

“All adventure is now reactionary.” -- William F. Buckley, Jr.
And to that I add this: All art is now reactionary.
William F. Buckley slays the evil dragon of liberalism, Noam Chomsky.

The only conservative god I worship has died.
William F. Buckley, Jr.
November 24, 1925 - February 27, 2008
Mississippi P.B.S. nights and Sunday afternoons of a young boy standing in the Firing Line:
“Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views.”

“Back in the thirties we were told we must collectivize the nation because the people were so poor. Now we are told we must collectivize the nation because the people are so rich.”

“Even if one takes every reefer madness allegation of the prohibitionists at face value, marijuana prohibition has done far more harm to far more people than marijuana ever could.”

“Idealism is fine, but as it approaches reality, the costs become prohibitive.”

“Liberals, it has been said, are generous with other peoples' money, except when it comes to questions of national survival when they prefer to be generous with other people's freedom and security.”

“The academic community has in it the biggest concentration of alarmists, cranks and extremists this side of the giggle house.”

"You cannot paint the "Mona Lisa" by assigning one dab each to a thousand painters.”

“One can't doubt that the American objective in Iraq has failed....different plans have to be made. And the kernel here is the acknowledgement of defeat.”

“Mr. Bush is in the hands of a fortune that will be unremitting on the point of Iraq. If he'd invented the Bill of Rights, it wouldn't get him out of his jam.”

“The Beatles are not merely awful. They are so unbelievably horrible, so appallingly unmusical, so dogmatically insensitive to the magic of the art, that they qualify as crowned heads of antimusic.”

Amen, Bill. I've always hated the Beatles, too.

13th Annual Government Contractor Industry Highlights Book

Great overview of trends in government contracting, contradicting mainstream liberal medial claims of huge profits by government contractors.

Report shows big profits elude contractors. According to a report released Tuesday by Grant Thornton, 42 percent of surveyed government contractors had either no profit or profit rates between 1 percent and 5 percent of revenue. This is contrary to the large profits watchdog groups and politicians think contractors are making, according to yesterday's Federal Times.

The 13th Annual Government Contractor Survey gathered business information from more than 100 companies representing a cross-section of the government contractor industry. Among its findings:

* On average, participants report 90 percent of total revenue comes from government contracts.

* Only 12 percent of respondents had profit rates from their government contracts over 15 percent.

* Nearly a third of respondents said they do not account for all hours worked, putting them at risk for underbilling time-and-materials contracts.

* 40 percent of revenue from federal contracts was from cost-reimbursable type contracts.

* 27 percent of respondents reported having contracts that require use of an earned value management system (EVMS), and of those, 41 percent said they rarely if ever receive government feedback on the information in EVMS reports.

* Executive compensation remains the cost most frequently challenged by the Defense Contract Audit Agency, yet 90 percent reported that their relationship with the agency is good.

“Government contract terms and conditions impose unique compliance burdens in practically all aspects of the company’s business and those burdens are continually increasing,” the report states.

CURE CANCER
Without Chemo
Part 5
Why would you settle for chemo?
Before you submit yourself to toxic tests and "therapies" that so often just increase your pain and suffering...doesn't it make sense to know all of your options? I think so. But it seems like everybody's lips are zipped. Consider this...
* 200 MG of selenium can help fight breast cancer from ever showing its ugly face. Selenium supplements are available in most health food and drug stores. Or, if you prefer, munch on some Brazil nuts--they're chock full of this vital nutrient.
* Zinc is a powerful weapon against prostate cancer. And consider it your new best friend if you're having troubles with potency, sex drive or fertility. I'll show you the easiest ways to increase your zinc levels to help keep cancer at bay.
* The #1 "drugstore" cure to improve your survival rate. It's a natural substance your body already produces to fight disease back up (so it doesn't trigger side-effects). It's also absurdly cheap, can be amazingly effective and chances are, your doctor will never prescribe it for you.
In your FREE Bonus Report, you'll see that just because natural substances can't be patented for big profit, doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your health and well-being. (You can bet your doc isn't going to put his life on the line...)

I stopped by my local Starbucks at South Lake Shopping Center in Reston, Virginia to verify if they were closed.

They are.

It's 6:20 p.m. local time in Reston, Virginia. I have posted these images from inside my car using my laptop through a wireless connection supplied by Starbucks.

Blake Gopnik, The World’s Smartest Art Critic ™, Doesn't Translate From The Chinese Murdering Bastards

As per usual, this past Sunday's Style & Arts section of the Washington Post was amusing on many different levels.

First, we have this deep well of postmodern bullshit from a curator who wouldn't know what a car bomb is if one were planted up her ass and detonated:

Alexandra Munroe, senior curator of Asian art, said, "It's something we see every day in newspapers -- a car bomb -- but Cai turned this act of terror into an act of contemplation and beauty."
Why do curators and artists make stupid inane lame statements like this?
Just once I'd like to see an authentic terrorist curator who knows a thing or two about how to build an IED curate a show that features videos made of car bombs being detonated in the automobiles of curators like Alexandra Munroe while driving to a private V.I.P.s-only art reception in Chelsea.
If she survived, it would be interesting to hear Ms. Mundroe's thoughts about how beautiful that experience was.

And then there's this groundbreaking intellectual contribution from Blake Gopnik, The World’s Smartest Art Critic ™:

Your dearest servant Giancristoforo Romano is here, and he did me the honor of giving me a medal of Your Excellency that is a thousand times beautiful, as you yourself are."He said that he had shown it, as a truly divine object, to all the Aragonese princesses, who all gazed at it in amazement, and that the Queen herself saw it before she left for Spain and couldn't get enough of it. She said that, on top of showing your singular beauty, it revealed a great intellect, such as she'd often heard tell of when she was in France and which had made her greatly want to see you someday. All the others who saw the medal also praised it very highly, including, before they left here, the courteous and graceful daughters of the Viceroy of Naples. Giancristoforo said that they looked at that lovely medal at length and kissed it a thousand times -- for they too had heard tell of your standing and merit."-- Translated from the Italian by Blake Gopnik

TRANSLATED. FROM. THE. ITALIAN. BY. BLAKE. GOPNIK.

Yep. He's truly the world smartest art critic.

Either that, or good ol' Blake was just too damn scared of the Chinese Murdering Bastards to review the propoganda of artist Cai Guo-Qiang.

When "The Rent Collector's Courtyard" was first shown at the Venice Biennale in 1999, the Chinese artists who created the original artwork in the heyday of the Cultural Revolution threatened to sue Cai for copyright infringement. The case was dismissed, and Cai's interpretation is now acknowledged at the Sichuan Academy of Art in Chonqing where the original is on view. But this piece will not travel to Beijing when the retrospective opens there in May 2008. It is touchy for an artist, especially one who has lived abroad for so many years, to revisit the Cultural Revolution in such a public forum.

It is touchy for an artist, especially one who has lived abroad for so many years, to revisit the Cultural Revolution in such a public forum.

No shit. No wonder Blake chose to stick with the Italian this week. That's an easy language to translate. God forbid if Blake tried to translate from the Chinese and screwed up. He might find himself on the receiving end of another Cultural Revolution.

If I were the pro-Chinese propoganda art critic Barbara Pollack, I'd be damn careful while visiting China this summer. One little mistake in translation and she might find herself reviewing brainwashed reconditioned artists located deep down in the basement of the Three Gorges Dam.

CURE CANCER

Part 4
The colossal cancer treatment cover-up...
Sure, conventional medicine wants you to believe that surgery, radiation and chemotherapy are your only weapons against cancer. Maybe it's because the average cancer patient represents a $500,000 payday for the cancer treatment system! They're making money while destroying your health! For example, did you know...
FACT: 75% of the average oncologist's"take home pay" is profit from the chemo drugshe gives to his patients...
Your oncologist is just doing his job, working with information that's been approved by our fabulously corrupt Food and Drug Administration and his overlords at the American Medical Association.
Before I go off ranting and raving about the FDA and the AMA, let me just tell you this: Cancer therapies are built on myths and lies. The hypocrisy is amazing...

Part 3

My Dear Misled Friend:

One nightmarish day, you're told you have the "Big C." As if that's not bad enough, next the "specialists" start throwing around words like "chemo" and "radiation," and your head really begins to swim. And then they start to sharpen their scalpels...

They call this science...medicine? It's absurd. Because so many truly effective tests and therapies are absolutely safe, cheap and simple. You'll be shocked by how many powerful alternatives you have--and can easily afford.

When The Rights Of The Nutria Collide With The Rights Of The Bayou, Along Will Come A Cajun Hero To Settle This Dispute...

...The Bayou Bounty Hunter.

I'm not a P.E.T.A. supporter at all. I despise P.E.T.A. and the idiots that support that fascist organization.

But, however as much as I may hate organized animal lovers, I do love animals, organized or not.

I feel sorry for the Nutria. They were brought to Louisiana against their will. Since being imported to the U.S., Nutria have become fruitful and multiplied beyond comprehension. They have no natural predators in the coastal environs of Louisiana. The devastation this animal has caused in the wetlands of the Pelican State is incalculable. If you can believe, the damage is perhaps even greater than that caused by the oil and gas industry. Some have actually made a convincing argument for this ascertion.

And this is why I feel sorry for the Nutria. They are being hunted down for being in a place where they never asked to be.

The oil and gas industry? Well, noboby's hunting down those dudes for the severe damage they have inflicted over the decades on the fragile wetlands of Louisiana.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries pays a $5.00 per head bounty on the Nutria. I trust them (mainly because I have several close friends who work for this government office and who have participated in developing the state's Nutria management plan) and believe it's a necessary evil policy if the wetlands of Louisiana are to preserved and even restored, especially in the aftermath of an additional incalculable loss of wetlands caused by Katrina.

I only wish that the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries would also offer a $5.00 per head bounty on the assholes of the oil and gas industry that have destroyed with impunity this precious natural resource. If they did, and if P.E.T.A. organized a shooting campaign to eliminate their presence from Louisiana, I might just consider joining.

Wetland Damage Caused by Nutria

In 1998, the first coast wide nutria herbivory survey was flown, as part of the Nutria Harvest and Wetland Demonstration Program. A total of 23,960 acres of damaged wetlands were located at 170 sites along the survey transects. In 1999, the damaged increased to 27,356 acres located at 150 sites. A slight decrease was shown in 2000 with 25,939 acres located at 132 sites. In 2001, the damage decreased to 22,139 acres located at 124 sites. Again, in 2002 the the number of damaged acres decreased, but only slightly to 21,185 acres located at 94 sites. The 2003 survey resulted in 84 damage sites covering a total of 21,888 acres. In May 2004, the survey showed 69 damage sites covering 16,906 acres. The 2005 survey reported 49 nutria damage sites covering 14,260 acres. Continuing the same pattern, the 2006 survey reported 31 nutria damage sites covering 12,315 acres. The most recent survey, completed in April of 2007, documented 23 nutria damaged sites totaling 9,244 acres. When extrapolated to a coastwide estimate, the acres impacted over these years ranges from 102,585 to 34,665 acres (damaged acres x 3.75). The 3.75 multiplication factor comes from the area actually surveyed along transect lines (0.5 miles) and the distance between transect lines (1.87 miles).

Vegetative damage caused by nutria has been documented in at least 11 Coastal Wetlands Planning Protection and Restoration Act (CWPPRA) project sites in the Barataria-Terrebonne Basins. The estimate of 80,000 acres of marsh damaged was conservative because only the worse (most obvious) can be detected from aerial surveys. The number of acres being impacted was certainly higher. Since the introduction of the Coastwide Nutria Control Program, the number of impacted acres has dropped to 34,665 acres. When vegetation is removed from the surface of the marsh, as a result of over grazing by nutria, the very fragile organic soils are exposed to erosion through tidal action. If damaged areas do not revegetate quickly, they will become open water as tidal scour removes soil and thus lowers elevation. Frequently the plant's root systems are also damaged, making recovery through vegetative regeneration very slow.

Half Black Jesus™ Needs To Get His Divisive Priorities Straight

Coming This Fall!!!
Project Outside The Beltway Terrorist
Oh my. What would Tim Gunn think of this crappy tailoring. This outfit barely disguises the madrassa car bomb Barack Hussein Obama is wearing underneath his elitist Harvard kaki pants.
What's divisive is for Obama to travel to Africa and pretend that his African grandmother raised him, when in fact he was raised by his white grandmother.
By the way, just where in the world is Obama's white grandmother?
Has she been locked-down in a nursing home, or what exactly?
Why is Obama hiding his white grandmother from the people and the press?
What's divisive is to pretend that your African grandmother, who you never met until you were a grown adult, is more important than your white grandmother who raised you, took care of you, fed you and for all practical purposes acted as your mother.
What's divisive is to pimp out your black grandmother in Africa for p.c. votes, while acting like your white grandmother would cost you votes if the world ever saw her standing by your side.

Supplements for Sleep

A good night’s sleep is one of the best defenses against aging and disease. But millions of Americans lie awake night after night, unable to get a restful night’s sleep. Big drug companies would have you believe that the answer is in a pill. Although popping a little pill sounds like an easy answer to a big problem, sleep aids come with a long list of complications and side effects.

Your sleepless nights may be eased by correcting habits in your daily routine, such as exercising too late in the day or too much caffeine. But insomnia may also be caused by underlying medical problems that may be masked by just medicating your symptoms.

Fortunately, there are safe, effective nutrients that can help most people get the sleep they need.

Before retiring for the night, take the following:

* Buffered Vitamin C (magnesium or calcium ascorbate) This helps induce sleep. Magnesium citrate. It is a natural relaxant and calmative. Melatonin. It will induce dreaming

A Driving Tour Of Western Loudoun County, Virginia With A Stop For Wine At Bluemont Vineyards...

Sorry, no hiking photographs this week.
However, this past week I gave a group of close friends a driving tour of western Loudoun County, Virginia. The best part of the drive was north and south along the ridge of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A recent ice storm made the drives north along Raven Rocks Road and south along Blue Ridge Mountain Road spectacular.
After the tour, we stop at Northern Virginia's newest vineyard, Bluemont Vineyard, which is located at an elevation of 951 feet on the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The Cackling Bitch® Publicly Pulls A Big Splinter From The Cross Of Half Black Jesus™ Out Of Her Angry Vagina Monologue

Oh, dear. What a flashback from my childhood this video provokes. My Southern mother would on needed occasions give me the Steel Magnolias version of this lecture when I dared to depart from the path of righteousness. And just like Hillary, my mom would also furiously wave the evidence of my sins in her hands before my lying denying fake innocent doe eyes.

Hmmm...maybe I share certain political traits with Barack Hussein Obama that I've never thought about until seeing this video!

National Terror Alert Response Center

Yet another graphic demonstration that the enemy understands our culture and the soft spot we have for expectant moms. Last weeks use of mentally-retarded women as murder-bombers is another despicable act.

The growing use by terrorist groups of women some disguised as expectant moms to deliver deadly homicide bombs has prompted the Department of Homeland Security and FBI to issue a rare warning that such attacks could take place on American soil.

Because Crazy Liberal Crackety Crack D.C. Baby Momma Dramas WANT You To Search Online For Nude Images Of Their Children

"Are creepy people searching through thousands of pictures looking for random naked ones?" Massey said, baffled at how viewers got around the privacy settings. "I don't know."

WTF???!!! Are you serious???!!!

The real question is this:

Why are creepy moms like you posting nude images of your children online in the first place???!!!

Who are you, Ms. Massey? A online Sally Mann wannabe?

"Big Pimp BK Offers Jessie Mann A Free French Fry" by Sally Mann

"Big Pimp BK Offers Jessie Mann A Free French Fry" is from the photography book How I Pimped Out All My Children For Fun And Profit And Into Theraphy by Sally Mann.

Look for Sally Mann's exhibition featuring images from this book, titled Unlike Jock Sturges, The F.B.I. Didn't Kick Down My Child Porno Studio Door, coming this fall at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.

---

So...let me make sure I understand this:

This idiot D.C. mom Meredith Massey admits to posting nude images of her children on Flickr, then being the idiot that she is, she fails to properly set her privacy settings so that these nude images of her children can only be seen by a select group of leering friends and family members, and having failed to properly set her privacy settings, thus making these nude images of her children available to the entire leering world, she then turns around and complains loudly on various baby mommy forums about what an idiot she is for not setting her privacy settings so the entire leering world can admire the butt cracks of her kids, then turns around and complains on the front page of the Washington Post Business section about how traumatized she is for being the idiot that she is for having provided the entire leering world nude images of her children's butt cracks because, being the moron she is, she didn't know HOW to set her privacy settings.

Only she doesn't admit her stupidity. She blames it all on Flickr, of course.

I think that if the Washington Post were to dig a little deeper into this moron mom's life they'd find out that she's an Obama supporter. I mean, really, how much more deluded can a person be?

As much as I dislike Hillary Clinton, I can't begin to imagine her posting nude images of Chelsea online. Slick Willy? Well, who knows how far he would go in pimping out his daughter.

But how about Michelle Obama?

Yeah. I can easily see that America-hating-I've-never-been-proud-of-my-country woman doing such a thing. You can just tell that that anger ball of a woman has a whole lot of unresolved stuff stewing and brewing inside or her.

If Michelle Obama becomes First Lady, rest assured that Flickr will be destroyed by an avalanche of nude photographs of children being uploaded by crazy liberal D.C. baby mommies.

Hell, If I Were John McCain, I'd Bang Vicki Iseman In A Heartbeat!

Give me a break. John McCain spent 5 1/2 years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam being tortued, as in REALLY tortured, unlike these pissant terrorists that have been treated with kumbaya-waterboarding-spa-treatments/free-HBO-and-medical-care-in-the-Gitmo-prison-cell kid gloves by an overindulgent U.S. that has literally bent over backward to avoid giving these evil scumbag murders the broken backs they so richly deserve, so who gives a flip that he may have perpetrated a PTSD-related ass tap on a nubile lobbyist?

If, and it's a BIG if, if John McCain fell off the monogamy train, so what? John McCain has paid his dues and has more than earned the right to an extracurricular side fuck or two on the government dime. I'm almost serious. Truly.

The blatant hypocrisy of the deranged left over this bullshit TMZ.com/National Enquirer story is astonishing. The left couldn't open its mouth wide enough to suck up and swallow the cum-drenced legacy of Bill Clinton and his endless train of cheap-ass white trash thong-wearing hookers.

As far as the corrupt left-wing anti-America terrorist-loving New York Times goes, either show me the blue stained dress or shut the fuck up.

NEW POLITICAL SEXUAL AFFAIR RULE:

If an American patriot who served his country with honor and distinction and who was taken prisoner of war and nearly tortured to death and who later in his married life and career of distinction decides to fuck a good looking strawberry blonde woman without his wife's permission before running for President of United States of America, then as long as that American hero's extramarital spunk isn't being dripped onto the carpet of the Oval Office then that American patriot's sex life is deemed to be NOBODY'S FUCKING BUSINESS BUT HIS AND HIS WIFE'S.

Half Black Jesus™ Exposed As A Fraudulent Plagiarizing Con Man Faith Healing Huckster...In Other Words, A Typical Lying Political Evangelist

FAINTING AND PLAGIARISM
WE CAN BE BORN-AGAIN IN
Can you say Jonestown II, anyone?
That's exactly what we're going to have when Obama's most deluded fanatic followers are faced with the fact that their Lord and Saviour has been rejected by His Heavenly Father's hand-picked corps of superdelegate archangels.

These creepy Obama cult members are worshipping at the feet of another Marjoe Gortner.

Hugh Marjoe Ross Gortner, generally known as Ma...
(Hugh Marjoe Ross Gortner, generally known as Marjoe Gortner (born January 14, 1944 in Long Beach, California), is a former evangelical minister who first gained a certain fame in the late 1940s and early to mid 1950s when he became the youngest ordained preacher at the age of four, and then outright notoriety in the 1970s when he starred in an Oscar-winning, behind-the-scenes documentary about the lucrative business of Pentecostal preaching. The name "Marjoe" is a combination of the names "Mary" and "Joseph".
When Marjoe was three, his father, a second generation evangelical minister, noticed his son's talent for mimicry and overall fearlessness of strangers and public settings. His parents claimed Marjoe had received a vision from God during a bath and began training him to deliver sermons, complete with dramatic gestures and emphatic lunges. By the time Marjoe was four, his parents arranged for him to perform a marriage ceremony for a film crew from Paramount studios, referring to him as "the youngest ordained minister in history." Like much in Marjoe's early life it is hard to say for sure who exactly ordained him, if his father ordained him, or if he was even ordained at all.
Until the time he was a teenager, Marjoe and his parents traveled the rural United States, holding revival meetings. As well as teaching him scriptural passages, Marjoe's parents also taught him several money-making tactics, involving the sale of supposedly "holy" articles at revivals which promised to heal the sick and dying. By the time Marjoe was sixteen, he later estimated, his family had amassed maybe three million dollars; shortly after his sixteenth birthday, Marjoe's father absconded with the money, and a disillusioned Marjoe left his mother for San Francisco, where he was taken in by and became the lover of an older woman. Marjoe spent the remainder of his teenage years as an itinerant hippie until his early twenties, when, hard pressed for money, he decided to put his old skills to work and re-emerged on the evangelical circuit with a charismatic stage-show modeled after those of contemporary rockers, most notably Mick Jagger. Marjoe made enough to take six months off every year, during which he returned to California, surviving on the previous six months' earnings.
In the late 1960s, Marjoe suffered a crisis of conscience -- in particular about the threats of damnation he felt compelled to weave into his sermons -- and resolved to make one final tour, this time on film. Under the pretense of making a documentary on the evangelical and non-denominational faiths, Marjoe assembled a documentary film crew to follow him around the Southern United States during 1971; unbeknownst to everyone else involved -- including, at one point, his father -- Marjoe gave "backstage" interviews to the filmmakers in between sermons and revivals, explaining intimate details of how he and other ministers operated. After sermons, the filmmakers were invited back to Marjoe's hotel room to tape him counting the money he collected during the day. The resulting film, Marjoe, won the 1972 Academy Award for best documentary.
After leaving the revival circuit, Gortner then attempted to break into both Hollywood and the recording industry. He cut an LP with Columbia Records, entitled "Bad, but not Evil" (Gortner's description of himself in the documentary), which met with poor sales and reviews. Gortner began his acting career with a featured role in The Marcus-Nelson Murders, the 1973 pilot for the Kojak tv-series. The following year saw him featured in the disaster film Earthquake as a psychotic National Guardsman, and in the television movie Pray for the Wildcats.
During the late 1970s, Marjoe attempted to self-finance another film, this time a pseudo-fictional drama about an evangelist con-man and based in part on his real-life experiences. The film started shooting in New Orleans, Louisiana, but went bankrupt less than 6-weeks into production. The film was never completed.
Gortner was married briefly to Candy Clark, from 1978-1979.
Gortner's most memorable film performance was as the psychopathic, hostage-taking drug dealer in Milton Katselas's 1979 screen adaptation of Mark Medoff's play When You Comin' Back, Red Ryder?, also starring Peter Firth, Lee Grant, and Hal Linden.
Gortner reappeared a few years later, starring in several B-movies such as Starcrash and hosting an early-1980s reality TV series called Speak Up America before ending his movie career in 1995. Today he sponsors charity golf tournaments and other events.
His most recent film appearance was in the 1995 feature Wild Bill, where he played, appropriately enough, a preacher.
Ezekiel 13:3 - "This is what the Sovereign Lord says: What sorrow awaits the false prophets who are following their own imaginations and have seen nothing at all."

Fidel Castro Resigns: Change In Human Rights We Can Believe In?

Castro clung to a socialist economic model and one-party Communist rule, even after the Soviet Union disintegrated and most of the rest of the world concluded that state socialism was a bankrupt idea whose time had come and gone.
....his defenders in Cuba point to what they see as social progress made under Castro's revolution, including racial integration and universal education and health care. Instead of communism, they blame the U.S. embargo for the country's economic woes.
Jesus Christ. I guess the only people in the world who give a damn about seeing the world rid itself of human rights-violating monsters like Fidel Castro are those pesky Cuban exiles down in Miami. Will they ever just shutup about Castro's crimes against humanity?
I'm being sarcastic about my Cuban friends in Miami, of course. The real question is this: Will the American left ever actually act like it gives a damn about Castro's crimes?

Elizabeth Hartwell Mason Neck National Wildlife Refuge

I hiked this past weekend at the Elizabeth Hartwell Mason Neck National Wildlife refuge which is located near George Mason's Gunston Hall Plantation in Virginia.
My flickr set of 223 images from this hike can be viewed here.
More information, directions and trails maps for this beautiful refuge can be found here.
Elizabeth Hartwell Mason Neck National Wildlife Refuge Mason Neck NWR was established in 1969 for the protection of nesting, feeding, and roosting habitat for the Bald eagles. It was the first federal refuge established specifically for the (then endangered) Bald eagle. The refuge is part of the Potomac River NWR Complex.
The refuge, situated along the Potomac River on the Mason Neck peninsula, consists of 2277 acres of oak-hickory forest, freshwater marshes, and has 4.4 miles of shoreline. The refuge has the largest fresh water marsh in Northern Virginia, the largest Great Blue heron rookery in the Mid-Atlantic region (over 1400 nests), is a designated RAMSAR site, and hosts over 200 species of birds, 31 species of mammals, and 44 species of reptiles and amphibians.
Eagles use the mature forests for shelter and nesting sites and the marshes, bays, and river for foraging and hunting. The refuge was listed as one of the top ten sites in the country for viewing Bald eagles.

In Celebration Of The Post-Racial Postmodern Allegorical Impulse Of An American Hip Hop Nigger Whose Career Is On The Downhill Slope...

“Its all the experiences we go through every day, of all ethnicities - Black, White, indifferent. We’ve all at some point felt discriminated on, whether it’s in Dominican Republic, whether it’s in China, whether it’s in Iraq with soldiers getting their heads blown off for reasons we don’t know why. The meaning of the word is supposed to be ignorant. So no longer are Black people still niggers, it’s also me and you (a white correspondent). I want people to think about what I’m thinking about today.” -- Nas

Wow. Nas should be writing Chelsea gallery artist statements for Kehinde Wiley.
But I'm just plain old school when it comes to the black radicals I like.
Black radicals like Nelson W. Winbush.

Nelson W. Winbush, 78, of Kissimmee stands in front of the Confederate battle flag that was draped over his grandfather's coffin in 1934.

In defense of his Confederate pride

Nelson Winbush is intent on defending the flag of his grandfather. It's just surprising which flag that is.

KISSIMMEE -- Nelson Winbush rotates a miniature flag holder he keeps on his mantel, imagining how the banners would appear in a Civil War battle.
The Stars and Bars, he explains, looked too much like the Union flag to prevent friendly fire. The Confederacy responded by fashioning the distinctive Southern Cross -- better known as the rebel flag.

Winbush, 78, is a retired assistant principal with a master's degree, a thoughtful man whose world view developed from listening to his grandfather's stories about serving the South in the "War Between the States."

His grandfather's casket was draped with a Confederate flag. His mother pounded out her Confederate heritage on a typewriter. He wears a rebel flag pinned to the collar of his polo shirt.
Winbush is also black.

"You've never seen nothing like me, have you?"

---

And there's a younger generation of black radicals coming up through the post-racial Confederate ranks that I'm starting to appreciate, too!

Black Men say Rebel flag flies for freedomDon't forget that February, the shortest month of the year, is Black History Month.

Uh, after all, we can't have TOO much black history being shoved down the politically correct brainwashed throats of majority white America's children.

Valentine's Day Pop Songs For Edith Metzger

This post at Eye Level prompted my following comment. I hope that Eye Level will publish this comment. As a person who has lost several family members to "accidents" caused by drunk drivers, I can tell you this: There is no such thing as the concept of closure.

I think it important to never forget that a young 25-year old woman named Edith Metzger, who escaped from Nazi Germany along with her family, was also killed in that accident caused by a drunk Jackson Pollock. This young woman, knowing that Pollock was far too drunk to be driving, screamed at the top of her lungs to get out of the car driven by Pollock before Pollock crashed it killing himself, Ms. Metzger and injuring Pollock's mistress, Ruth Kligman.

As a person who lost an Aunt, Uncle and 6-month old cousin in an automobile crash crash Mississippi caused by a drunk driver who crossed over into their lane of traffic and who thinks about them every day, I can't help but wonder if there are loved ones who remember the Edith Metzgers of the world on Valentine's Day.

---

Title: Pop Songs for Edith Metzger
Label: 4-4-2 Music
Format: CD
Designer: 4-4-2 Music

One night in August 1956, the action painter, Jackson Pollock, was drunkenly hooning home from a party in his silver Cadillac. With him in the car, screaming for him to slow down were his mistress, Ruth Kligman and her friend Edith Metzger. Nearing his Long Island home, Pollock wrestled with a bend and lost, being killed instantly as the car careered into a ditch and a tree. Ruth was badly injured, but Edith Metzger was also killed. Destined to be a footnote in a star’s story, this CD was compiled in remembrance of her, but also to acknowledge the many others who remain in the shadows of those deemed history-worthy.

Nagin: Yeah man, you know, this is cool. Now we can fix that pesky homeless problem we've got with all these skid row Republican veterans.
Riley: Yeah, I wanna see that homeless redneck conservative Iraq War veteran flip you the bird now.
Nagin: Yeah, I'll be ready THIS time. Hey, I just got an idea. We can get rid of these homeless neocon Republican war-mongering baby killers like they do with the *Nutria over in Jefferson Parish.

As the deluded cult followers of the Democratic Party's "firsts" continue to rabidly spin in a compulsive dither over Half Black Jesus™ (which is a joke since we all know that Bill Clinton was the FIRST black president) and The Cackling Bitch® (which is a bigger joke since such prominent Confederate historians as Shelby Foote have noted that Abraham Lincoln was the FIRST woman president to wear a dress in the White House), let us sane and rational people take a quiet moment to offer up some true appreciation for a true first.

And Now For Something Completely Different...

Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge
---
If you read my blog, then you no doubt know how much I love being outdoors hiking the isolated natural trails of America.
This past weekend I hiked at the Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge which is located near Warrenton, Virginia:
Occoquan Bay NWR was established in 1998 and is situated at the confluence of the Potomac and Occoquan Rivers. This 644 acre refuge was previously a military research site and is part of the Potomac River NWR Complex. The refuge has a unique mix of wetlands, forest, and native grasslands that provides a diversity of habitats for wide variety of species. Wetland habitats cover about 50% of the refuge and include wet meadows, bottomland hardwoods, open freshwater marsh, and tidally influenced marshes and streams. Upland meadows and mature oak-hickory-beech forest are interspersed among the wetlands. The unusual number and interspersion of habitats provides visitors a unique opportunity to view a wide variety of wildlife species and habitats in a relatively small area. Noted for its grassland nesting birds, neo-tropical migrants and raptors, the refuge also hosts wildlife common to Virginia. Over 220 species of birds, over 600 species of plants, and 65 species of butterflies have been documented on the refuge. Many of the bird species are uncommon or rare in the region. Spring and fall are great times to observe migrating Neotropical and raptors.
You'll also notice on my Flickr page that I've posted dozens of sets of images from previous hikes I've done in the D.C./Maryland/Northern Virginia/West Virginia area. I hope you'll enjoy viewing these as well.
In the future, I'll note my hike of the week with a post on this blog. I also hope you'll look forward to viewing those images.
A word about my digital hiker images:
I typically carry my Sanyo Xacti VPC-T700 when I hike. I love this little camera. I like it for the functional versatility of program features (especially its AWB controls) that it offers. Given that I often hike with a full and heavy pack, I find it burdensome to carry my Nikon camera pack with multiple lens unless I have a specific shooting purpose for doing so - for example, if I'm wanting to capture closeup images of Bald Eagles nesting or flying at Mason Neck State Park, then I go into full combat nature photographer mode and carry the additional equipment.
I don't use any photo editing software on the images I capture with my Sanyo. I also shoot-for-frame, so I seldom crop any of these images.
What you see is what the camera and I argued about before finally agreeing to capture. Raw images as it were.
I like raw images...especially natural raw images. :)
...
Get outdoors and hike the fat off your lazy ass. I promise you'll have fun.

Give Gaza to Egypt

Startling developments in Gaza highlight the need for a change in Western policy toward this troubled territory of 1.3 million persons.
Gaza's contemporary history began in 1948, when Egyptian forces overran the British-controlled area and Cairo sponsored the nominal "All-Palestine Government" while de facto ruling the territory as a protectorate. That arrangement ended in 1967, when the Israeli leadership defensively took control of Gaza, reluctantly inheriting a densely populated, poor, and hostile territory.

But the post-racial times they are a-changin', and so, sadly, the old white Republican gods at the vanguard of the modern pre-Reagan conservative movement must fade away.

The postmodern hip hop version of Buckley's famous comment is this:

I'd rather trust the government of the United States to the first 400 nameless, faceless and forgotten homeless insane in the membrane fuckers left off the role of the U.S. Census Bureau's official count of the population of Washington, D.C. than to the corrupt lying manipulative political leadership of the manifestly corrupt and grossly fraudulent two-party system and its corrupt super asshole prankster delegates who will engage in every little dirty mindfuck trick game they can think of to disenfranchise the popular will of the people of Florida...again. -- The Right Reverend James W. DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHS PER THE ABOVE SLIDESHOW:

FILE NAMING FORMAT FOR IMAGES OF ARTIST, WORKS OF ART AND ARTIST STATEMENTS:

A.) Images of Art Works are named as follows: ARTIST – RESIDENCE – TITLE OF WORK.jpg

B.) Artist Statements for Art Works are named as follows: ARTIST – RESIDENCE – ARTIST

1.) MELANIE NEWLONG – RESTON – MENDHI.jpg (MELANIE NEWLON – RESTON – ARTIST STATEMENT: Working with natural dyes, and other earth-tone mediums, has been the focus of my latest paintings. I am fascinated by the rich, earthy colors achieved with henna paste, especially when combined with a sanded, waxed, or burnished surface. As I work on a piece, I am like a visual archeologist, uncovering fragments from ancient ages. It is my goal to bring to light the profound beauty of things that are considered damaged, worn, or old. To me, that is a sacred thing: the way nature ages and mellows an object—be it a scrap of leather, a bit of bone, clay, metal.)

2.) HELEN M. GOODRUM – OAKTON – PRISM.jpg (HELEN M. GOODRUM – OAKTON – ARTIST STATEMENT: "Prism" was shot while exploring the various streets and canals of Venice, Italy. After a couple of hours of roaming the streets, and exploring various alleyways, I came upon this enormous architectural structure made entirely of different pieces of glass. Each glass piece was set at a different angle, and portrayed a different view of the surrounding alley and canal. I found this glass structure extremely complex and intriguing. I moved around the structure shooting various angles, but decided this particular view best captured the impression I wanted to portray.)

3.) PATRICIA DEEGE – VIENNA – DEER AND TREE, FOGGY SUNRISE.jpg (PATRICIA DEEGE – VIENNA – ARTIST STATEMENT: Fog in the mountains of West Virginia is a common occurrence in fall and it combined with the glow of sunrise to inspire this image. The tree had lost most of its foliage, and the approaching deer lent interest to an early morning "ghostly" scene.)

4.) SUSAN LAMONT – MCLEAN – LUNCH AT NOON.jpg(SUSAN LAMONT – MCLEAN – ARTIST STATEMENT: We live in complex times with many distractions. It's important to sort out what really matters, and my work lately has focused on how we relate to our complicated environment. This restaurant interior's mirrored walls and refected light on the glass goblets represents the kind of visually detailed context we find ourselves in on a daily basis. The two individuals provide a human element that allows each viewer to imagine his or her own story based on the visual clues.)

5.) ROSEMARY GALLICK – CENTREVILLE – BRUCE WITH SHADES OF GREY.jpg (ROSEMARY GALLICK – CENTREVILLE – ARTIST STATEMENT: Bruce with Shades of Gray depicts rock icon, Bruce Springsteen, in a reflective pose. By using only black, white and gray, the somberness of this musician's mood may be absorbed by the viewer.)

6.) SUSAN ISAKSON – FALLS CHURCH – ROAD TO THE STORM.jpg (SUSAN ISAKSON – FALLS CHURCH – ARTIST STATEMENT: While photographing in the field, I was keeping a weather eye on the rain clouds in the area. My afternoon was a success on two counts--the rain did not come my way, and I was lucky enough to discover a road with lines leading straight to a distant rain column. Thus was born the Road to the Storm.)

Through The Miracle Of Satellite Technology The Crackhead Amy Winehouse Will Be Able To Stumble Across The Stage Live At The Grammys!

Kirkwood, Missouri - Post-Racial America My Ass

"Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone puts his hand on you, send him to the cemetery." -- Malcolm X, Malcolm X Speaks, 1965

"The only way that I can put it in a context that you might understand is that my brother went to war tonight with the people that were of the government that was putting torment and strife into his life," Thornton told KMOV. "And he had spoke on it as best he could in the courts and they denied him all access to the rights of protection, and therefore he took it upon himself to go to war and end the issue."

"Shoot the Mayor!" -- Charles Lee "Cookie" Thornton

Thornton sued the city of Kirkwood after he was arrested twice for disorderly conduct at two council meetings in 2006. He was later convicted, according to the First Amendment Center, a group that says it works to preserve First Amendment freedoms.

According to a Thursday article written by the center -- before the shooting -- Thornton asked to speak during public-comment portions of 2006 meetings on specific topics, but instead spoke on what he alleged was harassment of him by city officials.

In the lawsuit, Thornton said his First Amendment rights had been violated. However, U.S. District Judge Catherine Perry said in a January 28 ruling that the public-comment portion of a meeting could be reserved for certain groups and topics of discussion.

Rather than discussing the subject at hand, Perry wrote, "Thornton engaged in personal attacks against the mayor, Kirkwood and the city council ... Because Thornton does not have a First Amendment right to engage in irrelevant debate and to voice repetitive, personal, virulent attacks against Kirkwood and its city officials during the comment portion of a city council public hearing, his claim fails as a matter of law," the ruling said, according to the First Amendment Center.

Question:

How far will you go in opposing a government that is trying to destroy or kill you or others?

For example, how far will you go in opposing a government that's killing people in Iraq in your name?

Just curious.

"There is not a liberal America and a conservative America - there is the United States of America. There is not a black America and a white America and latino America and asian America - there's the United States of America." -- Barack Hussein Obama

I'm also wondering if Obama has any post-racial thoughts on what it's like to be a 7.07% black man living in a 90.76% white community ruled by a 100% white government.

I'm sure that in the coming days we'll be learning more about the racial politics of Kirkwood, Missouri.

These Half Black Jesus™ Religious Freaks Are Creeping Me Out

I certainly understand where Katherine Greier is coming from.

True story:
As I sat at the Continental Airlines terminal at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport waiting for my delayed flight home to Reston, Virginia I was approached by a young girl who looked remarkably similar to the young lady pictued above.
She held out her hand and offered me an Obama 2008 campaign lapel pin. Being from New Orleans, I guess I just naturally look like the type of guy who is in desperate need of spirtual political healing.
She then said the following in an almost clone-like monotone voice:
Be the change you want to see in the world. Believe in change that is real.
I politely declined the pin and asked the young lady if her evil sick mother had changed her precious child's meds without telling her.
That question brought a faint smile to her little goth face - or at least I think it did...it was hard to actually see her face through all that cultish stringy hair she had that looked like it hadn't been combed since her mother last brought her out of the born-again Christian fervor well of progressive liberal political delusions.
I then asked her the following:
Child, do you believe that we Americans now live in a post-racial society.
She thought for a moment, then replied:
Barack Obama says that race doesn't matter. He says that black and white doesn't matter because we are all Americans.
I asked her how many blacks and whites from New Orleans she saw in the Lower Ninth Ward during her family's visit to the city for Mardi Gras.
She said her family never visited the Lower Ninth Ward, that they stayed with her Aunt who owns a home in the Garden District, and that they primarily visited the French Quarter and Uptown New Orleans.
I told her the following:
Child, race doesn't matter when there's no race left that matters. Maybe on your next visit to New Orleans you'll have a chance to visit with some blacks and whites from the Lower Ninth Ward who lost everything and have been scattered to the winds across this country and who understand all there is to understand about all matters concerning race.
She smiled again (I think) and left the pin on the seat next to me.

Ash Wednesday

---
Ash Wednesday is from my book of poetry, Southern Standard Time.
---
Ash Wednesday
hell is in your palm...
on the ashes
on your forehead
reminding you that it never changes
even in penitent moods
-
after painful celebration
noon mass across the street
that's covered with trash
and beer bottles and excrement
and there's no levitating over it
you'll have to walk right through it
-
and beyond the doors that are locked to the private
are those who are about to make a pledge
to give up one thing that means a lot to them
one thing that they don't even own...
...that they are willing to give up for awhile

I ask you to think about this today:

Much of what you see in the film Down by Law no longer exists.
Many of the neighborhoods depicted in the film were utterly destroyed in the wake of Katrina.
None of the current viable presidential candidates has put forward a detailed comprehensive plan for the recovery of New Orleans.
None of the presidential candidates competeing in today's Mardi Gras Super Tuesday contest has made the rebuilding of America's greatest city the #1 priority of their administration if elected.

More Tears! More Tears! Pleeeaaassseee More Tears!!!

Hillary, I'm begging you to really turn on the waterworks tonight.
Can you talk about the death of your first pet or something?
Or better yet, how about a really emotional race-baiting my-favorite-dead-pet cry?
Talk about how on the campaign trail this weekend you saw an abused and abandoned dog that looked just like one of the dogs Michael Vick killed and how witnessing the condition of that poor animal inspired you to make it a priority of your administration to seek death-penalty justice against those mean men and boys from the inner city streets that wage money on dog fights.
Yes, indeed, nothing will turn on your liberal white voters like the sight of a black man going to prison for the rest of his natural life for hurting an animal.
Post-racial America my ass.

And To Think I Didn't Know That The Dipshit Rednecks Of Virginia Beach Even ALLOWED Stores To Open On Sunday!

There are times when I'm forced to admit what Virginia really is. Now's one of those times.

As an artist/photographer who's been known on more than one occasion to push the envelope when it comes to freedom of artistic expression, the only thing that pisses me off more than rednecks that want to censor commerical photographs are the elitist dipshits of the art world that want to constantly slam fashion photography for being nothing but commercial.

Emergency AAA Tourist Advisory:

All members are cautioned to NOT bring your ass-cracks and hand-covered nipples to Virginia Beach, Virginia. Period.

UPDATE:

The dipshit rednecks of Virginia Beach drop the charges.

How mighty anal retentive 1st Amendment white of them.

4 Sights Within 4 Feet Of Touch

"4 Sights Within 4 Feet Of Touch" by The Right Reverend James W. Bailey

Photographed on location within 4 feet of a 7-Eleven on Soapstone Drive in Reston, Viginia.

AND IT GOES ON AND ON...

And goes... And goes... And goes...

I am talking about life. As long as one is alive there is the forward motion... The being impelled toward something... Even when we try to stand still, as long as we are alive, life goes on. The autonomic system, once set into motion, will stay in motion until something called death stops it.If we had to think about breathing and heart beats in order to keep them going we probably would die prematurely because we would forget to keep the functions going if we were in control of them. We can learn and cooperate with them. We can be destructive and stop them as far as our lives here are concerned but we cannot stop life... We can only kill the organism that supports our life here... We call the organism a body... That case of flesh and blood and bone... That thing in which we live... That thing which we often abuse because we will not take the best of care of it as is possible for us to learn and do... This is true, especially when we are young... As we age, leaving youth behind...

On Super Tuesday Vote For A First In Our New Post-Racial American Society: Vote For A White Guy Who's Not Ashamed Of Being A White Guy

The anti-America Bush-deranged race-obsessed=racist liberal Democrats are bathing in deluded orgasms of firsts.
Some believe that Half Black Jesus™ will be the first President of the United States of America when in fact Bill Clinton was the first black president. And a good first black president at that, if if I might break ranks with my party and say so myself.
Others believe that the The Cackling Bitch® will be the first woman president of the United States of America.
Again, there's a problem with this delusion.
Oh, that's right. Hillary doesn't wear dresses. She wears pant suites. Nevermind.
However, Hillary could be the first of another type. If elected president, being a liberal Democrat women who wear pants suites would make her the first liberal Democrat MAN with a pair of balls to occupy the White House since F.D.R.!

In the year 2000, Frans set off on a journey of photographic discovery that parallels new scientific insights about the story of life on Earth. His search has been wide-ranging and provocative, leading him from microscopic worlds to primordial landscapes that preserve time capsules of life’s history. The result is a glorious celebration of planet Earth that inspires and informs through images and stories of the amazing biodiversity that surrounds us all. From prehistoric trilobites to giant tortoises, delicate jellies to spiny octopus, and from steaming jungles to shimmering coral reefs, Life: A Journey Through Time is a testament to the magical beauty and enduring miracle of our living planet.

SANDI CROAN – CAUGHT.jpg (Northern Virginia Photographic Society)

Sandi Croan bio

Sandi Croan has been taking pictures all of her life but became more serious about photography in 2003 when she took her first photography class from Wayne Wolfersberger through Fairfax County Adult Education. She enjoys taking pictures of most everything, but specializes in fine art nature, landscape and travel photos as well as outdoor natural portraiture of children. Sandi has been juried into numerous shows and exhibitions and was a featured artist in Elan Magazine. Her work can be seen at Broadway Gallery in Fairfax, ETC Gallery in Alexandria, Art Plus Frame in South Riding, and her home gallery, as well as on her website. She is an active member of Northern Virginia Photography Society (NVPS), Vienna Photographic Society (VPS), and Northern Virginia Artists League (NOVAL).

Sandi Croan’s Artist Statement for Caught

On a beautiful summer day, I was sitting on my deck and saw this glowing orb at the edge of my property. I walked down there and saw that it was a tent worm caterpillar web on a tree with leaves caught in it illuminated by the setting sun. I ran to get my camera and my tripod and got a few shots in before the light changed. Who could ever say that a tent worm web was a beautiful thing of nature? Mostly, they are destructive and ugly. But on that day, in that light, it was beautiful to me.

ABOUT THE MEADOWLARK NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY EXPO
In 2002, Meadowlark Botanical Gardens was interested in promoting the awareness of the natural world, its beauty and diversity, and the need to preserve and conserve those resources. The challenge was to find an event that could take place in off-peak times when the beautiful facilities of the Garden were not being utilized. The obvious choice was to create a show around nature photography.

Six camera clubs in Northern Virginia saw the opportunity to promote the talents of their members, their individual clubs and photography in general. When they started planning the first Expo they found immediate support in the local photographic community; support which has grown each year.

In 2003, the Northern Virginia Photographic Society (NVPS), one of the participating camera clubs, was awarded 1st place in the Camera Club Category of the Nature’s Best annual international photography contest. The winning NVPS images were displayed in the fall 2003 edition of Nature’s Best Magazine. Nature's Best also featured highlights from the 2004 Expo in their summer 2004 issue. Nature's Best Magazine ranks as one of the finest nature photography publications in the world and the Meadowlark Nature Photography Expo has been privileged to have their support.

The centerpiece of the Expo is a display of almost two hundred images that have been selected by a panel of jurors. This exhibit showcases photographs of landscapes, wildlife, flowers and more. These images are displayed in The Atrium at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, which is ranked as the top event facility in the area.

The event also provides visitors with opportunity to interact with other photographers as well as those involved in providing goods and services to photographers. Visitors can meet representatives from leading companies that support photography and, in many cases, nature photographers in their quest to take better photographs. Learn about the latest photography equipment and apparel. Find out about classes and workshops offered by local photographers. The Expo also offers two full days of lectures by noted photographers. Novices and advanced photographers alike have the opportunity to learn from locally and nationally known photographers with expertise in a variety of fields.

In 2006, the Expo stepped up its efforts to bring great speakers to the event by offering a keynote presentation by Bobby Harrison about his efforts to find and photograph the illusive Ivory-billed woodpecker. This keynote presentation also brought the support of the North American Nature Photography Association as a sponsor of Bobby Harrison’s keynote address. Each year the Expo will strive to have a well-known photographer present a memorable keynote address.

The Expo offers visitors several unique activities: free portfolio reviews by a professional photography instructors and free camera cleanings by Strauss Photo-Technical Services. Another popular event provides photographers the chance to photograph hawks and owls. Thanks to the Raptor Conservancy of Virginia, photographers can focus their cameras on these magnificent wild birds in a natural setting just outside Meadowlark’s Visitor Center.

For out-of-town visitors coming to the Expo, the Marriott offers great accommodations at a special rate. The Marriott has served as the Expo’s host hotel since the beginning and it is also the site for the Keynote Speaker’s address on Friday evening, prior to the opening of the Expo on Saturday and Sunday.

At the Expo, visitors can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win terrific prizes. Thanks to our sponsors and other generous donors, visitors spending a dollar have walked away with prizes worth hundreds of dollars. You can find a list of the prizes being offered on the Raffle Prizes page.

Meadowlark Botanical Gardens is a gem awaiting discovery; visitors can stroll through the 95-acres of gardens. Be sure to return in April and May when the cherry trees bloom around the lakes and acres of brilliant tulips and daffodils mark the beginning of spring. With such beautiful scenery, Meadowlark Botanical Gardens has become a favorite spot for those interested in outdoor photography.

Ultimately, however, the Expo’s primary goal is to spark the photographic interests of those who attend the show. Many attendees are simply dazzled by the beauty of the photographs on display. Yet, ALL of the skilled photographers whose work is exhibited began as novices. It is the hope of the Expo that visitors are inspired by the creativity of the exhibiting photographers and are encouraged to improve their own skills as photographers. Visitors have the chance to meet their peers (young and old alike) to see how they got started. They have a chance to have their work critiqued, as well as meet with photography instructors to learn about photography classes and workshops they can take. Also, learn about the benefits of joining one of the local camera clubs, and talk with companies who specialize in gear and equipment for photographers.

The Meadowlark Nature Photography Expo is a two-day immersion in photography that is not to be missed.
